Avaya brings a Scrappage through Double First and du Pré

Avaya, one of the largest telephone system manufacturers worldwide, has released details of a new scheme aimed at helping schools change their telephone systems, available exclusively through Double First in association with their parent company, du Pré plc.

Similar to the current Government initiative to reward drivers for scrapping their old car, Avaya is offering cash rewards to schools which swap their existing telephone systems for a new Avaya system.

Furthermore, Double First has added three further reasons to take up this incentive.

Something Unique - Screen Popping

"Something totally unique," said Richard Jones, Group Sales Director, "is that Double First's Engage school information software will be able to 'screen pop' when linked to a school using an Avaya telephone system.

"This feature will be available next year," added Richard. "When a call is received at the school, Engage will immediately 'screen pop' and show the relevant information as the phone is ringing."

30 Years Experience

Speaking about the campaign, Nick Morris, Avaya Channel Account Manager, said,

The IP500 Telephone System from Avaya

The Avaya IP500 telephone system includes some very useful features, such as the ability to link straight into Microsoft Outlook for true Unified Communications. This enables (for example) voicemail messages to be emailed and then saved as a .wav file, meaning you can keep them for ever with access whenever you want.
