Double First will be exhibiting at GESS (Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions) in Dubai, 10-12 March 2009, between 0900 and 1700 each day.

The Middle East is Special to Double First

With significant sales of their world leading Engage School Information Management System software in the Middle East, Double First is pleased to be exhibiting at GESS in Dubai, further demonstrating their commitment to the region.

Operating as a school-wide MIS, Engage by Double First has seen great success across Europe and is now enjoying a growing demand from the Middle East and beyond.

Guest Speaker - our Chairman

Our Group Chairman, Piers du Pré, has been asked to speak at one of the GESS sessions, on the subject 'Effective use of technology in schools throughout the world'. The content of Mr du Pré's session will cover the following,

"Are you really getting the most from your IT and communications budget? Are you truly using IT to serve the interests of your students, teachers and parents? How can you use your school data to market the school more effectively? And what steps are you taking to keep student data secure in this increasingly litigious world?

Piers du Pré will look at all these questions and raise some interesting discussion topics to a) challenge the current way of working in schools throughout the world, and b) highlight simple changes that can be applied in a school to make a huge difference."
