Our Support Team has a secure facility for the Support Team to connect to your IT Network to work on a support issue you may have logged.
Is it Secure?
Using SSL (a Digital Security Certificate) for secure connectivity, we gain remote access to your computer. As they do, a pop-up message will appear on your screen asking if you want to allow or deny access.
Since it is up to you to grant access, and SSL is in operation, you can be assured of a secure connection, completely at your control, on a session by session basis.
What's the Procedure?
The Support Team (08450 34 66 55) will give you a 6 digit number valid for the next 20 minutes. If connection is not established within this time frame, another number will have to be obtained.
The first time you use this facility, a small applet will need to be downloaded before communication commences.
When the connection is terminated, the number cannot be re-used.
