Engage priority tasks and top tips for June and July

engage to list june julyOur experts in the Support Centre have created a useful checklist of Engage activity for users of our school management information and finance system during this period of the academic year.

Scroll through the list below and make a to-do list. Don't forget we also have plenty of helpful advice on the Support Centre to guide you through the routines described.

 

 

 

June

Assessments

  • Generate Assessment reports for printing and save to the Document Management System (DMS) and Portal
  • Major assessment run half term
  • Check Class Mark sheets are ready for next batch of reports
  • Enter assessment marks, grades and columns ready for printing
  • Test run assessment reports prior to issue date

Pupils/Listing Reports

  • Generate the Admission Register List at the end of the month, print and/or save a copy
  • Timetable
  • Finalise timetables for new academic year

July

Assessments

  • Generate Assessment reports for printing and save to the DMS and Portal
  • Major assessment run end of term

Admin Roll over

  • Take a back up of Engage
  • IMPORTANT: Lock Assessment reporting periods prior to moving students
  • Generate the Admission Register List at the end of the month, print and/or save a copy
  • Generate any attendance reports for the academic year just completed
  • Generate and save any other listing reports
  • Move leavers out of Current students
  • Batch update students into their New Year Groups and Forms
  • Move New Intakes in
  • Ensure students’ Entry Dates and Leaving Dates are correct so they display when they should on the register in September
  • Send out Parent Portal invites to new parents
